CHALLENGE

The Manaslu Circuit trek is a demanding route that calls for good health and prior hiking knowledge. Despite its difficulties, the Manaslu Circuit Trek is a wonderful hiking experience because it offers a distinctive mix of adventure, culture, and spectacular scenery. THE TREKKING ROUTE TO THE MANASLU CIRCUIT TREK:


  • The trek starts with an idyllic drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, a picturesque town located 700 meters above sea level on the bank of the Budhi Gandaki river.
  • The trail ascends gently from Soti Khola via rocky terrain and alpine woods while offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
  • A number of small towns, including Machha Khola, Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Samagaon, and Samdo, will be among those you pass through. Here, you may get a taste of the locals' distinctive culture and hospitality.
  • The Manaslu Conservation Area, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna, is one of the stunning landscapes and high elevations you will pass through on the walk.
  • The Larkya La route, an elevated, difficult route that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, is the highlight of the walk. The pass is the highest point of the journey, rising 5,160 meters above sea level.

ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 m) and hotel transfer
Namaste! Greetings from Nepal, A representative from Nepal Trekking Experts will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and welcome you to the country of breathtaking mountains and temple-filled metropolises. One of our staff members will assist you with your luggage before driving you to your overnight hotel room. The traditions and history of past eras are deeply ingrained in Nepal's capital. Immerse yourself in this bustling country's lively markets, historic temples, street vendors, and friendly citizens. We will plan a dinner program at a traditional Nepali restaurant in the evening after informing you of the trekking route. We'll inquire about your insurance and next of kin at the welcoming meeting, so you must be there. If you think you'll be late, kindly let the front desk at your hotel or travel company know.

Day 02: Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley and final trekking preparation
After a brief orientation, you'll spend the day exploring Kathmandu City. The historic city of Kathmandu is renowned for its glorious past, rich cultural heritage, and stunning artwork that has been preserved on both wooden and stone monuments for centuries. Additionally, you will witness the famous Swayambhunath Stupa, which is situated on a hill and is roughly 200 years old. It is often referred to as the "Monkey Temple." You'll also visit Lalitpur, known for its superb artwork, if the day is still available. A visit to Basantapur Durbar Square in the late afternoon, when the warm sun is setting, brings the tour to a close.
The Durbar Square is home to a number of sights, including Freak Street, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav, and the living goddess Kumari. Because of its tremendous historical significance and value from a cultural and religious standpoint, Kathmandu is a popular tourist destination. We will also talk about the 55-window palace of Boudhanath, which was built at Bhaktapur in the 15th century, as well as the Pashupatinath Temple and Swayambhunath Stupa, which we will visit on Day 2.
The rest of the day can be used to prepare for the trek that will follow your tour. You can go shopping last-minute if you still need personal items or travel accessories. Day 03: From the Bustle of Kathmandu to Serene Soti Khola (710 m): 8–10 hours
Embark on a thrilling journey as we leave behind the vibrant chaos of Kathmandu and head towards the enchanting village of Soti Khola. Nestled at the foot of the majestic Manaslu Mountain, this hidden gem awaits, ready to unveil its natural wonders and awe-inspiring landscapes.
We pass through stunning scenery, meandering roads, and charming villages on our scenic journey, getting a taste of the real Nepalese culture and the friendly smiles of the residents. The air gets fresher as we drop into the verdant valleys, and with each mile that passes, our excitement for what lies ahead rises. As you catch sight of the huge Budhi Gandaki River, whose turquoise waters claw their way through towering rocks, feel the excitement of adventure growing within you.
Arriving at Soti Khola, you'll be greeted by the serene ambiance of this tranquil village, surrounded by verdant hills and the sweet melodies of nature. Settle into cozy accommodations, unwind, and let the peacefulness of the surroundings wash over you, preparing you for the exhilarating days to come.

Day 04: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (900 m): 6-7 hours
Embark on the first day of your trek to Machha Khola, where the magic of nature awaits. We'll have a modest hurdle on our journey today as we make our way across beautiful terrain on foot. Enjoy the verdant surroundings, the spectacular cascading waterfalls, and the tranquil sound of the Budhi Gandaki River. Discover picturesque villages along the way and enjoy the warm welcome of the residents.
You may relax knowing that our trekking company will take care of your lodging and food once we get to Machha Khola, a tranquil oasis by the river. The Manaslu Circuit awaits with even more adventure and magic tomorrow, so unwind and recoup now.

Day 05: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1400 m): 6-7 hours
Enjoy an ample breakfast as the sun rises over the barren countryside, getting you ready for an exciting day. As we leave Machha Khola's peace behind, we are suddenly surrounded by the wonders of nature. The walk meanders through lush woodlands, where you are surrounded by brilliant greenery and the relaxing rustle of leaves in the breeze. Reaching Tatopani, a well-known location for taking a bath in a natural hot shower, requires further hiking. Jagat is closer now, and the scenery changes dramatically. The settlement is surrounded by majestic cliffs that climb to the heavens, casting a shadow over it and providing an incredible backdrop. With its winding lanes taking you on a journey through time, this antique trade station exudes mystery and intrigue.
After a long day of trekking, we will arrive in Jagat and relax in our tea houses. You may be confident that our committed trekking organization will make sure your stay is nothing less than wonderful. Day 06: Trek to Deng (1800 m): 6-7 hours
We trekked a trail that gently climbs along a gorgeous, leafy road today after leaving Jagat. After that, we continue on a straight, level track until we come to a big suspension bridge across the Budhi Gandaki River. We proceed to Philim after crossing the bridge. A significant Gurung community by the name of Philim exists in the region, where Buddhism is the predominant religion. Buddhism is widely practiced there, and the town's colorful prayer flags, stupas, and monasteries give off a positive mood characteristic of it. We proceed to Deng from Philim via rhododendron and pine trees. Finally, we will spend the night in a Deng tea house.
 
Day 07: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2630 m): 6-7 hours
A filling breakfast will set you up for the enthralling trek from Deng to Namrung. Prepare to see the spectacular majesty of nature unfold as you refuel. Set out on the trail, passing through tangled forests, thrilling suspension bridges, and attractive villages along the way. Enjoy your breakfast while taking in the stunning views of Siring and Ganesh Himals, which are rising boldly in the background. Arrive in Namrung, a tranquil community tucked away in the breathtaking Himalayas. Enjoy relaxing accommodations with breathtaking mountain views.

Day 8: Namrung to Lho (3180 m): 3–4 hours
You will begin the day by observing the Nubri people's way of life. You will pass various mani walls, verdant terraces, and residences as you explore the people's normal way of life in Banjam. Then, you'll enter the fir, rhododendron, and oak forests before climbing to Lihi and then to Sho.
The majority of the residents will be wearing traditional Tibetan attire as you begin to move. You will see some lovely paintings in the gate arches as you pass before Sho and continue on. You will eventually reach Lho, where we will overnight.

Day 9: Trek from Lho to Samagaun (3530 m): 4-5 hours
We set out on a trek early in the morning from Lho to Samagaun. Our route enters a forest before arriving at Shyala village. The Shyala village features a number of wooden resting areas and is surrounded by agricultural fields. In order to get to Samagaun, a flat settlement, we must first cross a little creek that empties into the Punggen glacier.

Day 10: Acclimatization at Samagaon
Sleep in and unwind today—it's acclimatization day. After a revitalizing breakfast, spend the day relaxing at Samagaon.
There is an extra-day hike that exposes some fascinating Sherpa culture for those who wish to go exploring. Thousands of mani stones bearing Buddhist teachings are on display, along with images of Sherpa women wearing traditional attire and decorations. Pungyen Gompa, an ancient gompa with stunning views of the glacier, is located on a small hill not far from the Sama hamlet.
 
Day 11: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3875 m): 4 hours
You will become acclimated to the altitude thanks to this little trek. After breakfast in Samagaon, you will make your way down to the Budhi Gandaki River and follow it to a bridge over a side stream. You will pass by several mani walls as the valley opens. This route offers breathtaking mountain views and puts you close to the Tibetan border. Finally Keep continuing after you pass a stone archway until you arrive at Samdo, where we'll spend the night.

Day 12: Trek to Dharmashala (4460 m)—trek 3–4 hours.
Today's day starts with a delicious breakfast. After that, we keep walking until we reach a wooden bridge across the Budhi Gandaki River. After crossing the bridge, we continue to trek up towards Dharamshala, where along the way we get a breathtaking view of the Larkya glacier. We travel to Dharamshala, have lunch, prepare for the hike ahead at Larkya Phedi, and then spend the evening in a Dharamshala teahouse.

Day 13: Trek from Dharamsala to Bimthang (3590 m) via Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) for 8–9 hours
After a leisurely breakfast, we began our ascent and eventually arrived at the Larkya La Pass, the highest point of the hike at an elevation of 5,160 meters. You will be in awe of the beautiful views of the Himalayan range, despite the challenging and steep hike to the pass.
Once you have climbed to the top of the pass, you will be able to see the Manaslu massif, one of the highest mountains in the world. The picturesque village of Bimthang, which is situated at an elevation of 3,590 meters, is where you will now begin your descent. As you walk downhill, the scenery drastically changes, going from snow-capped peaks to lush woods and meadows. Bimthang, a small town, is a popular rest stop for hikers. Here, everything will be taken care of so that you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains in the distance while eating a wonderful dinner and staying in comfortable lodging.

Day 14: Trek to Tilje (2300 m): 5–6 hours
After leaving Bimthang, the trail descends to some grasslands before continuing in the direction of the Dudh Khola River bridge. We walk across the bridge and through fields, river valleys, and rhododendron woods. We then quickly climb to the settlement of Gho before continuing on the trail until we reach Tilije, where we will spend the evening in a teahouse.
 
Day 15: Trek to Dharapani (1910 m): 5–6 hours
You will be using the trails in the Manaslu area for the last time today. You will pass through lush forests full of flora and animals, including rhododendron bushes, as you make your way downhill. You will return across the Dudh Khola and proceed to Karche for lunch. In the hour that follows, you will observe numerous indications of a glacier flood, including bank erosion and broken tree trunksimals, including rhododendron bushes, as you make your way downhill. Day 16: Drive to Besisahar (800 m) from Dharapani, 4-5 hours
On your sixteenth day of exploration, bid adieu to the charming village of Dharapani and start your thrilling drive to Besisahar. Fasten your seatbelt and get ready for a picturesque ride that will carry you across stunning landscapes and immerse you in Nepal's vivacious charm. As you leave Dharapani, you will travel along winding mountain roads that provide sweeping vistas of the region's valleys and snow-capped peaks. The rough landscape and gushing waterfalls will serve as a reminder of the Himalayas' raw splendor.
As you arrive in Besisahar, halt to take in the atmosphere of the bustling town. Interact with the welcoming inhabitants, indulge in regional cuisine, and wander through vibrant markets that highlight Nepal's rich cultural past. As the day comes to an end, return to your lodging.

Day 17: drive to Kathmandu, overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu: 6-7 hours
We'll drive you back to Kathmandu and show you to your hotel room after a magnificent Manaslu Circuit trek. In the evening, we'll eat our final supper at a restaurant with a strong Nepalese cultural influence. If not, we will bid you farewell and send you off at the airport when it is time for you to fly. You are free to take a nap anytime you want to or to alter your itinerary at any time for a new visit.
