Langtang and Helambu trek begins with the amazing scenic driving journey to Syabru Bensi after exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. You will follow the gains elevation through the forests of rhododendrons, oak, and bamboo. As you begin your the Langtang and Helambu trek from the Sundarijal after an hour drive from Kathmandu, allow you to enter Shivapuri National Park, where you will discover wildlife and beautiful forest with verities of the trees and Chisopani, Kutumsang, Thadepati, and Sermathang. Continue trail will allow you to encounter with the wildlife, which will make your trek more curious. Apart from this, great mountains around the Langtang region with the wonderful forests along with the beautiful rice terraces and several ancients Buddhist monasteries along the way are really spectacular to explore. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu (1,462m)


 

As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, One of Himalaya Hero Adventure representative will be in the airport to pick up you and drop you to your hotel, where you can take some rest and relax. We will also introduce with your trekking guide and provide you welcome drinks. After a few rests, you can stroll around the Thamel Bazaar and make place familiar. There will be one short orientation class, you will have to attend this short program, where one of the representatives will provide you some information’s about further trek to Langtang and Helambu trek. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner with our team. After dinner, we will stay overnight at the hotel at Kathmandu.


Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing


 

Have an early morning breakfast and continue the journey to explore historical and cultural heritage sightseeing of Kathmandu. Visit Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Royal Kathmandu Durbar Square with your guide. After exploring, you can be prepared for the next day trek, put all the essential things into your backpack. Have dinner and stay overnight at Kathmandu at the same hotel.


Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1,462m)


 

In this day, we will have an early morning breakfast and continue driving journey towards Syabru Besi from Kathmandu. Around 5 to 6 hours driving journey will offer you spectacular views of the scenic surrounding and the stunning Himalayas. You can witness a wonderful view of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal, during your journey to Syabru Besi, at the elevation of the1462meters. Have dinner and stay overnight at Syabru Besi.


Day 4: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,500m)


 

In this day, we will have an early morning breakfast and continue trek onwards to Lama Hotel. As we continue trek ahead following Langtang Khola (River) through the beautiful rhododendron and oak forests. The further some ascending and descending trail trek will allow us to cross the attractive river and eventually reach to the Lama Hotel. As you reach to the Lama Hotel, you can stroll around the Lama Hotel and encounter with the local people and observe their unique cultures and traditions. Have dinner and stay overnight at Lama Hotel.


Day 5: Trek to Mundu (3,543m) by the Langtang village (3,307m)


 

In this day, early in the morning after having breakfast, we’ll head towards Mundu, which is situated at the altitude of the 3543meters. As you continue trek ahead, you will get chances to witness stunning plenty of waterfalls on the way with the amazing mountains views. You will also get chances to explore the green meadows of Ghoda Tabela and you can also explore white caps of the Langtang Range from the Ghoda Tabela. The further climbing trek takes you the close to the Mundu, you will also get chances to view traditional Buddhist Monastery on the way. And you will reach at Mundu. Have dinner and stay overnight at Munda.


Day 6: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,798m)


 

After having morning breakfast, you will continue trek ahead to Kyanjin Gompa, a famous place for traditional culture, which is situated at the elevations of 3,798m. Before you reach to Kyanjin Gompa, you will pass through watermills in a small settlement and a big Mani Wall. People believe that the wall is full of prayers and incarnations. Further upwards trail leads you to Kyanjin Gompa then you will get chances to explore this beautiful Village. As you reach the Kyanjin Gompa, you will explore ancient Gompa. Have dinner and stay overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.


Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa exploration and rest day.


Today we will acclimation at Kyanjin Gompa and the whole day we will explore the village. After having morning breakfast, we will visit the village and encounter the people and explore their unique cultures and traditions. You will also get the chance to explore the Kyanjin Gompa. If you desire, we also can make short hike upwards to Tsherko Ri, where you can take a training trip because of its tough route and you will continue your trip through the amazing view of the mountain ranges. After exploration, you will return back to the Kyanjin Gompa. During your beck trek, don’t forget to visit a famous Yak Cheese Factory on the way. In this village, you will be stunned when you see warm hospitality and welcoming behaviors. Have dinner and stay overnight at Gompa.

Day 8: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2,500m)


 

In this day, we will have an early morning breakfast, and continue to trek back to Lama Hotel, which is situated at the elevation 2500 meters. As we’ll begin the trek towards downhill and finally reach the Lama Hotel, a famous village, where you can stun views of the Himalayas and the Valley. During our trek, we’ll visit various Tamang Villages and beautiful forests. Have dinner and stay overnight at Lama Hotel.


Day 9: Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,250m)


 

In this day, we will have an early morning breakfast and continue upwards trek to Thulo Syabru, which is situated at the elevation of the 2250meters. As we continue trek ahead, we will get chances to discover Rimche Village and continue to trek downward back to the Langtang Khola, where you can enjoy fresh water. The further trek ahead through following the bamboo forest, landslide with the exceptional views and finally you will reach to the Thulo Syabru. Have dinner and stay overnight at Thulo Syabru.


Day 10: Trek to Singompa (3,250m)


 

In this day, we will continue trek ahead after having morning breakfast. We will continue trek ahead towards Singompa, at the summit of the 3250meters. Today, we have to trek around 4 hours trek take you to explore various rural villages along with Foprang Dada and you will finally reach to Singompa, which is situated at the altitude of 3,250m. Have dinner and stay overnight at Singompa.


Day 11: Trek to Gosaikunda (4,300m)


 

After having morning breakfast, we will continue to trek towards Gosaikunda, which is situated at the elevation of the 4300meters. Gosaikunda is a very renowned place for wonderful Himalayans views such as; Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Mt.Manaslu, Himalchuli, and Langtang. Gosaikunda is fused with the stunning group of lakes, which is surrounding with the stunning peaks on the background and makes this place surreal. As we trek through the subtropical forest to alpine zone with the beautiful rhododendron, Oak, pine, and birch. The further trek will take you to the Gosaikunda, holy Lake for both Hindu and Buddhists. Explore this amazing lake and surrounding small lakes over there. Have dinner and stay overnight at Gosaikunda nearby the lake.


Day 12: Cross the Gosaikunda pass (4,610m) then trek to Ghopte (3,430m)


 

Next morning, we will have a breakfast and continue trek ahead by crossing the Gosaikunda pass and trek continue Ass you reach to the Gosaikunda pass, you can have amazing views of the Himalayas from the pass, after exploration, you will trek ahead toward Ghopte, which is situated at the elevation of 3,430m. After crossing the Gosaikunda pass, we’ll enter into the Helambu region. In this region, we will visit three beautiful lakes with the stunning scenery of great Himalayan views on the background. The further trek will continue down towards Ghopte and reach to the Ghopte. As you reach the Ghopte, you can explore the village and encounter with the locals. Have dinner and stay overnight at Ghopte.


Day 13: Trek to Melamchi Gaon (3,490m)


 

In this day, have an early morning breakfast, and continue trek ahead to the Melamchi Gaon, which is situated at the elevation of the 3490meters. As we continue our step upwards and downwards trek through following the beautiful forest on the side, we will reach to the Pati Pass. As you reach the Pati Pass, you can have stunning views of the mountains and the beautiful valley below. The further trek leads you to Melamchi Gaon by following through the wonderful alpine forest. Have dinner and stay overnight at Melamchi Gaon.


Day 14: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2,743m)


 

In this day, we will have an early morning breakfast, and continue trek head to the Tarkeghyang, which is situated at the elevation of the 2743 meters by following the beautiful Melamchi Khola (River). With the amazing view of the wonderful Langtang Ranges, we will continue trek upward with the beautiful views and reach to the Sherpa Village called Tarkeghyang. In this village, you can see typical Sherpa culture of the people and encounter with the local people is really amazing. Have dinner and stay overnight at Tarkeghyang.


Day 15: Trek to Shermathang (2, 621ms)


 

In this day, early in the morning after having breakfast, we’ll continue trek to another beautiful Sherpa Village called Shermathang, which is situated at the altitude of 2,621m. The Shermathang village commands view over the Helambu Valley to the west and the high mountain ranges to the north, where you will get an opportunity to view amazing Langtang range and Ganesh Himal as well as the Jungle Himal. Most of Sherpa people of this village are farmers, cultivates the terraced slopes for vegetables. Apart from this, you will also get chances to trek through the green forests, rural villages, monasteries, and a Mani Wall. Have dinner and stay overnight at Shermathang village.


Day 16: Trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (8,46m)


 

In this day, early in the morning after having breakfast, the trail will go ahead by passing through the beautiful meadows field which leads us downwards to Melamchi Pul Bazaar. Further, continue trek leads you to amazing mountain foot and Mountain View in Kakani Village. And then you will continue trek downward to Tallathok and finally reach Melamchi Pul Bazaar. Have dinner and stay overnight at Melamchi Pul Bazaar.


Day 17: Drive back to Kathmandu


 

Today is your final day at Kathmandu, we will have an early morning breakfast, and continue to drive the journey back to Kathmandu with the memory of the amazing day before. After you will reach the hotel in Kathmandu, you can have some rest and relax. In the evening, you can enjoy incredible farewell dinner with the typical cultural program for the celebration of the successful completion of Langtang and Helambu trek in Nepal. You will stay overnight in the same hotel at Kathmandu.


Day 18: Final Destination


 

Have morning breakfast and after hotel check-out, one of our representatives will drop you to the airport before 3 hours of your scheduled flight. We will wish you a safe flight towards your hometown and hope we will meet soon in this wonderful country Nepal.
