Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)


Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport where one of our representatives will receive you and drop you to the hotel. As you reach the hotel, after hotel check-in, you can take rest and be fresh. We will introduce you to your guide and another member of our company. In the evening, you can stroll around the vibrant Thamel Bazaar and can do some shopping in the striking bazaar. In the evening, one of our representatives will provide you orientation class about the further trek of Everest Base Camp. You can enjoy welcome dinner with our team and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation


The next early morning we will have breakfast and continues Kathmandu Sightseeing tour with our guide. Today we will visit major Kathmandu Sightseeing Site including Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Royal Kathmandu Durbar Square.
After exploration, you will return back to the hotel and do prepare for the next day trek. You can put essential things into your bag pack. Have dinner and stay overnight in the same hotel.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 40 minutes flight; 8km, 3 - 4 hours trek


Have early morning breakfast and continue the journey towards Phakdhing. You will take a domestic flight to Lukla, the entry point of the Everest region. Around 45 minutes of flight offer you breathtaking white and green rolling mountains and the panoramic surrounding below. As you reach Lukla, you will introduce yourself to the other crew members of our team. After short rest, you will begin official trekking to Phakdhing. You have to trek around 3 to 4 hours which offers you to explore lively Cheplung village from you can have a stunning glimpse of Mt. Khumbila. Then after that, you will again continue to trek ahead gradually descend the trail to Phakding. Have dinner and stay overnight in Phakding.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 11km, 5 - 6 hours


After morning breakfast, you will continue trek ahead towards Namche Bazaar, which is situated at the elevation of the 3438meter. As you continue to trek through passing a beautiful pine forest and north up the Benkar valley. As continue trek ahead will be along the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo villages and reach the entrance of the Everest National Park. You will get chances to cross a beautiful suspension bridge and pass Jorsale village. Then after you have to trek alongside the beautiful Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. Finally, you will ascend on a steep trail and reach the Namche Bazaar, the biggest town in the Everest region. As you reach the Namche Bazaar and you can stroll around the Namche Bazaar. Have dinner and stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)


After early morning breakfast, today we will explore the Namche Bazaar, the biggest town of the Everest region. Namche Bazaar where you can take many facilities this bazaar offers you including government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and a colorful market. Today, if you desire, you can hike to the famous Hillary school which is set by Late legendary sir Edmund Hillary, where you can enjoy the impressive Himalayas including Mt. Everest, AmaDablam, Lhotse, Kongde, Nuptse, Thamserku, and another vicinity of the mountains. After exploration, you will return back to the Namche Bazaar and have dinner and stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 10km, 5- 6 hours


After morning breakfast we will continue trek ahead to Tengboche, which is situated at an elevation of 3870meter. As you continue trek slightly upwards and cross the Phunki and further ascend towards Tengboche village, where you can explore the various local houses and the famous as well as the biggest Tengboche monastery of the Everest region. Tengboche Monastery is located within the Sagarmatha National Park which is also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you reach the Monastery, you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Himalayas that includes Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, AmaDablam, and Thamserku. In the evening, you can stroll around and have dinner and stay overnight in the Tengboche.

Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 9km, 5 - 6 hours


Early in the morning breakfast, you will continue trek ahead towards Dingboche, which is situated at an elevation of 4360 meters. We will continue descends trail passing through the beautiful lush forests of birch, confer, and rhododendron trees with the majestic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, AmaDablam, and its close vicinity. The further trek will go downhill to Debuche and goes along the beautiful Imja River to finally reach the Pangboche. The further trek will be upwards to the Pangboche, which will offer us admiring Himalayan vista and the Pangboche Monastery. We continue our trek to the Imja Valley and continue along the Lobuche River before ascending to Dingboche. As you reach the Dingboche, you can enjoy a picturesque village with beautiful barley, potato and buckwheat fields. In the evening have dinner and stay overnight in the Dingboche.

Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft): 4km, 2 - 4 hours


In this morning, we will have breakfast and continue ascending the trekking trail by following the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. We will continue trail passing through boulder-strewn slopes by following the ChupkiLhara with the splendid mountain views. You can also get chances to explore the top filled with prayer flags and stones, memorial shrines with the amazing views of Mt. Everest. As we trek down to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we can enjoy the several great peaks including Khumbutse, Pumori, Lingtren, Mahalangur Himal, and many more. And then finally arrive at Lobuche. Have dinner and stay overnight in the Lobuche.

Day 9: Lobuche to GorakShep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft): 13km, 6-7 hours


Today we will have morning breakfast and continue trek ahead to Gorakshep. We will trek ascend and descend trail mostly on a glacier path also following lots of meandering on rough terrains, we will reach to the Everest Base Camp.  As we reach to Base camp, we can enjoy witnessing the incredible mountain views and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. You can see astonishing views ofKhumbuste, Nuptse, and Pumori mountains from the base camp. After exploring the awesome beauty of the mountains, we will return back to the Gorakshep for the overnight. Have dinner and stay overnight in the Gorekshep.

Day 10: GorakShep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) to Pheriche (4,288m/14,070ft): 16km, 7-8 hours


Have early morning breakfast and continue trek ascending trail to the famous viewpoint called Kalapathar. We have to follow the fairly steep trail and reach the Kalapathar, which offers us stunning views of the Himalayas including Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Changtse mountains. We can also have outstanding views of world tallest mountain Everest. After exploration of the magnificent views of the Himalayas, we will return back to Pheriche with the great views of the Himalayas. As you reach to the Pheriche, you can also stroll around the Pheriche and explore the place. Have dinner and stay overnight in the Pheriche.

Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft): 20km, 6 - 7 hours


After having early morning breakfast, we will continue trek forwards to Namche Bazaar, the biggest Sherpa town. Around 6 to 7 hours trek will follow several ups and downs trail. You will follow the trail along the green vegetation, you can witness hillside is filled with the beautiful rhododendron and juniper trees along the way. You will also follow the amazing DudhKoshi River and cross a bridge over the DudhKoshi River. After crossing bridge, we will descend rapidly through pine forest, where we can get chances to encounter with the varied wildlife such as; mountains goats, pheasants and other wild animals with the different bird species. As you trek ahead, you will also enjoy the views of AmaDablam, Thamserku and Nuptse mountains and finally arrive at Namche Bazaar. As you reach to the Namche Bazaar, you can stroll around the Sherpa Town and explore the place. Have dinner and stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m/9,186ft): 19km, 6 - 7 hours


After having morning breakfast, you will continue trek ahead to Lukla, which is situated at the elevation of the 2860meter. And then we begin our trek to Namche Bazaar by following the rocky terrain. We will mostly continue a downhill trek alongside the DudhKoshi River trail and cross several beautiful suspension bridges. We will also pass several monasteries and villages on the way back to Lukla. As we reach to Lukla, we will take some rest after hotel check-in. In the evening, we can stroll around the Lukla and explore the Lukla. Have dinner and stay overnight in Lukla.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu


After having early morning breakfast and take an air flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. Around 40 minutes flight offer you breathtaking views of the mountains below and take you to the Capital city of Nepal. As you reach to the Kathmandu, you will take some rest in the hotel. In the evening, you can stroll around the Thamel and do some shopping in this vibrant bazaar for the last time. You can also enjoy farewell dinner with the typical cultural program celebrating the successful completion of the world highest mountain in the world. Have dinner and stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final departure.


Today is your final day at Nepal, after breakfast, one of the representatives will transfer you to the airport before 3 hours of your flight schedule. We will wish you to have a safe flight.

What is the height of Everest Base Camp (EBC)?
