Overview

Mount Kailash is one of the famous pilgrimage sites for the followers of the Hindu religion. Mt Kailash Helicopter Tour is designed for those who are looking for short time visit to pay godly attention to Lord Shiva’s habitat. Mt Kailash Helicopter Tour entry is linked via Simikot to directly drop at the borderland of Hilsa then continuing the overland journey towards the Shore of Mansarovar Lake.

Furthermore, this holy journey from Mansarovar Lake starts with hiking to complete the KORA of Mt Kailash which takes around three days. After the Kora trip, we again join for overland and drive back to the border and to catch the flight by helicopter again.
Your initial journey will start from the capital city of Nepal – Kathmandu. Kathmandu is home to many famous temples, so it will be a great opportunity for the follower of Hindu religion to worship in the temples. Our next stop will be to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj, we will take another flight to Simkot and then to Hilsa and then we will drive to Mansarovar.
This helicopter tour offers the perfect panoramic view of the mountains and natural Diversity. The route is comfortable and less since we complete our trek via flight or via drive. Throughout the path, you will encounter the majestic scenario and picturesque view. Kailash Mansarover is located at a higher altitude therefore acclimatization is a must in order to get familiar with the climate.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tribhuvan international airport –Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel


After you arrive in the Tribhuvan international airport – Kathmandu, Our representatives will be there to pick you from there and you will be transferred to the hotel and in the evening Briefing about the Kailash Manasarovar tour. Spending Overnight in the hotel.


Day 2: Flight to Nepalgunj


We will have a morning visit to very famous and holy - Pashupatinath temple and after noon transfer to airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. On arrival, we will be headed to our hotel and rest.


Day 3: Flight to Simkot and proceed to Hilsa


We will take an early morning flight to simkot for immigration formalities then headed to the  Hilsa by chartered helicopter flight. After arrive at the Hilsa, we will start our journey Purang, which is a short walk to cross river Karnali and reach Tibetan border. There our vehicles will be waiting. After we have a brief introduction with our Tibetan guide, we will then drive for Taklakot which is also known to Chinese as Purang . We will spend our night in the guest house and take rest .

Day 4: Acclimatization day


Since, we will be spending our time in the high elevations and perhaps tired of our journey, it is best advised to take rest. So, this day, full day free to acclimatize and relax at Taklakot.


Day 5: Three hours of drive to Mansarover Lake (120km)


We will drive from Taklakot to Manasarovar Lake which will take around 3 hours. We will have full day to take a holy bath and worship in this sacred region or we may just relax at the edge of holy Manasarovar Lake. We will spend our night in a guest and set up a tent.


Day 6: Drive to Astapath


On this day, we will first drive to Tarchen then to Astapath . Astapath is not accessible to everyone so if we got opportunity then we may perform puja at Astapath. We will spend out overnight at Hotel in Tarchen.  


Day 7: Trek to Dehara Puk (5000m)


Early Morning, We will commence Kailash Parikrama drive to Tarpoche and then we will have a four to five hours of trek to Dira Puk .Dehara Puk is one of the amazing time walking along the lovely rocky precipices; clear blue sky makes you feel the Great God Shiva ,waterfalls with some clouds. 

Day 8: Dromala pass to Zuthul Puk


 We will Continue our Parikrama over Dromala pass to Zuthul Puk [22 kms 7-8 Hrs.]. At night, we will set up a tent and spend our night there.


Day 9: Prikrama near Darchen and drive to Taklakot


Finally, we will finish our Parikrama near Darchen which will last arounf 3 to 4 hours and then we will drive to Taklakot. We will spend our overnight at guesthouse or my set up a camp.


Day 10: Sightseeing and fly back to Kathmandu


On this day, we will take early morning drive to Hilsa via Khojarnath Temple which is a famous ancient Temple of Lord Ram, Laxman and Sita. We will ten take a flight and get back to Simkot. After we are done with immigration procedure, we will proceed for Nepalgunj by chartered helicopter. Arrive we get to  Nepalgunj , we will take a flight  to Kathmandu . We will spend out night in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Farewell and Departure to the Airport.


This is the final day in kathmandu , we will be headed to our next destination .
