Gupteswor Cave has its religious value, it is believed that after the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva was preserved when it was discovered. Every Hindu come here to worship it every year.
Bindhabasini temple
Situated between the Pokhara and Baglung highway and the Ramakrishna locality, Bindhabasini temple is one of the famous temples in Pokhara dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati. Bindhabasini is also regarded as a Pokhara’s guardian deity which also represents as a Shakti or Kali. Every Saturday many Hindu people come here to worship and perform sacrifices.
World peace stupa
Situated southwest of Pokhara, at the elevation of the almost 1000meters, World Peace Stupa is another famous destination for travelers from where they can enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas including Machhapuchre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, Himachali, and Annapurna range along with Phewa Lake and Sarankot Mountain. To reach Word Peace Stupa, you can either make a short hike or can go through the drive.
Devi's Falls
Devi’s Falls is also known as the Patale Chhango(waterfall) which is located about 2km southwest of the Pokhara. It has historical believe that one of the foreigners named David was swept away and never found here during his visit to Nepal. So, the name of Devi’s was taken from the foreigner.
Sarankot Sunrise
Sarankot another major attraction of the Pokhara city sightseeing tour. Early in the morning before breakfast, travelers will make a short hike to the famous viewpoint called Sarankot to capture the eye-popping views of the golden glow of sunrise. Day tour Itinerary
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and one of the representatives will pick up you and he/she will drop you to your hotel. After few rests at the hotel, you will again take a domestic flight for Pokhara. Around 35-minute flight will take you to the Pokhara and enjoy boating around 2 hours in the famous Fewa Lake with the amazing views of the Himalayas on the backdrop.
You can make the short hike to Sarankot for incredible sunrise views. As you reach over there, you will explore the amazing mountains views with the golden glow of sunrise views over the Himalayas. After exploration, you will again return back to the Pokhara. On the way back to Pokhara, you can also explore one of the most famous Bindabasini temples and continue to trek ahead to Pokhara. As you reach to the Pokhara, you can stroll around the Phewa Lake and do enjoy boating in the Phewa Lake. You can also enjoy witnessing the magnificent views of the Himalayas including Machhapuchhre (6,993m/22,943ft), Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,794ft), Manaslu (8,156m/26,759ft), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. And then you will visit the Pokhara, the paradise city. Today you will stroll around and explore, Davis Falls, where you can see the magic of waterfall that flows directly into a narrow and deep canal that has no end. Then after you will visit the Shiva Cave, situated near Davis Fall. You will also explore the famous International Mountain Museum (IMM) and the Tibetan refugee camp and can observe the refugees how they are kept themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicraft items. After exploration, you will again go back to Kathmandu Valley. Around 6 to 7-hour drive will offer us amazing views of the green scene and surrounding along the way. A long journey will be along the beautiful bank of Trishuli. As you reach Kathmandu, after hotel check-in, you can take some rest. In the evening, you can do some souvenir shopping in the vibrant Thamel Bazaar. In the evening, you can enjoy farewell dinner with the celebration of the successful completion of our journey of Pokhara. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
