The journey of the Pokhara Tour!

With the legendary driving tour from Kathmandu will take you to the Pokhara, the real heaven on the earth. You will have two options either you can take air flight for Pokhara from Kathmandu or you can go by the drive. It depends on your choices and your budget. If you choose by driving, it will take around 6 to 7 hours with scenic views and if you desire to go by air, you can reach Pokhara around 35 minutes with splendid views of the mountains. Before heading to Pokhara, you will also get chances to explore the open museum of Kathmandu Valley, as you will explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Nagarkot. After visiting these amazing places in Kathmandu, we will head to Pokhara. As you reach over there, you can explore the natural wonder of Pokhara and after exploration, you can return back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu


 

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and one of the representatives will pick up you and he/she will drop you to your hotel. Once you reach the hotel, you will be provided welcome drink after hotel check-in. You will be introduced with the trekking guide and other members of our team. In the evening, you can stroll around the Thamel Bazaar and enjoy welcome dinner hosted by our team. You can also enjoy your dinner with the typical Nepali cultural program. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath


 

After having morning breakfast, we will begin our sightseeing tour in the Kathmandu Valley. One of our guides will take you to visit the major UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu; Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, and Bauddhanath Stupa. After exploration, you will return back to the hotel, where you can take some rest and relax. After a few rests, you have to take a short orientation class about Pokhara tour. One of our representatives will provide you a short class about the further trek. After short class, you can prepare and put essentials things into your backpack. Have dinner and stay overnight in the same hotel.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Patan and Bhaktapur and Sunset views from Nagarkot


 

After having morning breakfast, you will continue pleasing drive journey to the Patan and then Bhaktapur, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will explore first Patan Durbar Square, which is rich in ancient arts and architecture. After exploration Patan, we will head towards Bhaktapur, which also known as an open museum for travelers. You will get chances to encounter with the local lifestyle and they're preserved of unique cultures and traditions. You will visit and explore Nyata-Pola Temple, the Golden Gate, water spouts and the 55 Window Palace. After that, we will again head to Nagarkot for incredible sunrise, sunset and Himalayas views. As you reach Nagarkot, you will get an opportunity to have stunning views of the sunset. Have dinner and stay overnight in Nagarkot.

Day 4: Sunrise view from Nagarkot then drive to Pokhara: 213km, 6-7 hours


 

Before having early morning breakfast, continue short hike to Sarankot for incredible sunrise views. As you reach over there, you will explore the amazing mountains views with the golden glow of sunrise views over the Himalayas. You will have morning breakfast with the stunning views of the Himalayas. After exploration, you will again return back to the Pokhara. On the way back to Pokahra, you can also explore the one of the most famous Bindabasini temple and continue trek ahead to Pokhara. As you reach to the Pokhara, you can stroll around the Phewa lake and do enjoy boating in the Phewa Lake. You can also enjoy witnessing the magnificent views of the Himalayas including Machhapuchhre (6,993m/22,943ft), Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,794ft), Manaslu (8,156m/26,759ft), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. After exploration, you will go back to hotel and take rest. Have dinner and stay overnight in the Pokhara hotel.

Day 5: Sightseeing in Pokhara


 

Have early morning breakfast and continue visit around the Pokhara, the paradise city. Today you will stroll around and explore, Davis Falls, where you can see the magic of waterfall that flows directly into a narrow and deep canal which has no end. Then after you will visit the Shiva Cave, situated near Davis Fall. You will also explore the famous International Mountain Museum (IMM) and the Tibetan refugee camp and can observe the refugees how they are kept themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicraft items. After exploration, you will again go back to the hotel and take rest. Have dinner with us and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 6: Drive to Kathmandu


 

After morning breakfast, we will leave paradise city called Pokhara and head towards the Kathmandu Valley. Around 6 to 7-hour drive will offer us amazing views of the green scene and surrounding along the way. A long journey will be along the beautiful bank of Trishuli. As you reach Kathmandu, after hotel check-in, you can take some rest. In the evening, you can do some souvenir shopping in the vibrant Thamel Bazaar. In the evening, you can enjoy farewell dinner with the celebration of the successful completion of our journey of Pokhara. We will stay overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 7: Final departure


 

Today is your final day in Nepal. After morning breakfast, one of our representatives will drop you to the airport before 3 hours of your scheduled flight. We wish you have a safe flight and hope we will meet again in the land of wonder Nepal.
